2020 Greater Reno Stamp & Cover Show - July 25-26, 2020
Show canceled due to Covid
Even though the stamp show has been canceled, the special pictorial postmarks (one for each show day) had already been submitted and approved by the U.S. Postal Service. The club has decided to produce a show cover for each day as originally planned.

100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment

The July 25 cover (above) celebrates the 100th Anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment and includes a special cancellation with the Gwen Ifill stamp issued Jan. 30, 2020, along with a brief history of women’s suffrage in Nevada.
150 Years of Minting in Nevada

The July 26 cover (above) celebrates “150 Years of Minting in Nevada.” It includes a special cancel and one of the “Enjoy the Great Outdoors” stamps issued June 13, 2020 at Incline Village, NV. The back of the cover has a brief history of Coin Press No. 1 and the Carson City Branch Mint. The cancel is based on the design of special commemorative medallions issued by the Nevada State Museum.
